Prime Software ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, share it, and protect it when you use our mobile application Trending App (the "App").
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Information We Collect
We collect minimal information to provide and improve the App experience. We do not require account creation or collect personally identifiable information such as your name, email, or phone number unless you voluntarily provide it (e.g., for support requests).
Automatically Collected Information:
- Device information: device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, mobile network information, and app version.
- Usage data: which trends/stories you view, scroll behavior, time spent in the app, crash logs, and performance metrics (to improve stability and relevance of content).
- Analytics data: aggregated, anonymized information about how users interact with daily trends and stories (via tools like Firebase Analytics or similar services).
No Sensitive Data: We do not collect precise location, contacts, photos, microphone, camera data, or any financial/health information.
How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information to:
- Provide and maintain the App's core functionality (displaying daily trends, stories, and news).
- Personalize content recommendations based on your reading interests and trends you view (if personalization is enabled).
- Analyze usage patterns to improve trend detection, story relevance, app performance, and user experience.
- Detect and fix bugs, crashes, or technical issues.
- Show relevant (non-personalized or contextual) advertisements, if ads are present in the App.

Third-Party Services
The App uses third-party services that may collect information:
- Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config) - for usage analytics, performance monitoring, and app improvements. See Google's privacy policy.
- Ad networks (if applicable, e.g. Google AdMob) - for showing ads. These may use device identifiers for ad targeting. See their respective privacy policies.
- Content sources/APIs - we fetch public trends and stories from third-party news APIs or RSS feeds. We do not control their privacy practices.
We do not knowingly share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard measures. Analytics data is stored for up to 26 months (configurable in Firebase). We do not store long-term personal profiles.
However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13 (or the applicable age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we have collected such data, we will delete it promptly. Contact us if you believe this has occurred.
Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location (e.g., GDPR in EU/EEA, CCPA in California), you may have rights to:
- Access, correct, or delete your data
- Opt out of certain data processing
